How many miles does your Fcar have?

Almost 73,000 -- 1987 328GTS

 

50,000 79 308 gts. I bought it with 46k and have had it for about a year now.

 

94 348 Spider......102,000. No, It's not my daily driver!!!

 

1988.5 TR

3,600 Miles.

 

33K 1990 348ts. 4K since January 1, 2004.

 

It's funny that this thread just came up. I took a picture of my 308 rolling over 90,000 last night and was going to post it tonight with the same question

 

1989 348TS - 26537 (5000 miles in last 7 weeks)

 

1987 328GTS, 22640 miles.

My Viper has 22,000 miles in a year and a half and not the daily driver.

 

1995 348 Spider - 6,700 miles- and beautiful!!!!

 

Since I plan on keeping my car I cannot wait till it crosses 100,000. We ought to make up some sort of small F-Chat dash plaque commemorating the event. The Alfa Romeo Owner's Club has one but my Alfa still has another 18,000 to go.

 

Actually, I think it just turned 6,800.

 

Maybe I should carry my camera with me for when MY 308 turns over 30,000 later this week?

 

Mine's just passed 100,000 and went back to 00000. It's a nice feeling and has kind of given my ownership a new lease of life.

 

My car has a 6th digit. I won't get to see a 00,000.

 

I just hope the Odometer is the only component designed to last only 100,000!

That's an interesting point and evidentally they are not. I have seen many 80/81 model 308's with 180 dial. Most of those models were originally equipped with the US mandated 85mph speedo. Now when I see them I check the chassis # behind the steering wheel. They are scattered all over the chassis range. A few before a particular chassis # with a 180 will be 85, then I'll see 2 more 180's then a whole string of 85's again. I am sure, especially then, that a Ferrari worker would have been more then willing to bolt in whatever was nearest to him at the time the car passed him on the line. I have wondered, though, if it was that or if the whole unit was replaced here in the US later. If it was the latter then was it because an owner was tired of pegging the thing on the highway all the time or was it because it quit working and was replaced by a shop that did not know enough to assume the speedo was fine and the sending unit was bad?
This brings another point about milage - the old sending unit that will ALWAYS fail at some point on these 308 era cars (or were unpluged).
Anyway...

 

My last 328 ('87 Black) has 14,875 miles now (11,850 when I got it in June) and my next one ('89 Red) has 28,731 miles.

 

1984 Mondial QV (Euro car). 20,500 miles. When I bought the car this past May, it only had 19,400 miles on it. I expect to put 2K to 3K/year on it.

 

My '85' Euro 308 GTS QV just turned over to 45,000 miles.
