Too many... Probably in the 2-3K range.
Mostly 1/24th, but I have a small Aston and Ferrari GTO collection in 1:43.
The kits I have are resin and/or plastic and about 1/6th of them are Ferraris - the rest are Corvettes, Cobras, LeMans winners, sports cars, and so on.

Almost all are unbuilt, but I like to paint so many have had the bodies painted and then put back in the box. I manage to finish about 1 per year. Think of all the years of entertainment I have left!!

4 diecasts on my desk at work: a Ferrari 550, a Jag XK8 convertible, a 50th anniversary Corvette, and the Corvette Stingray in silver.

There are 1:43 Koenigseggs available now. As well as ME412s (also available in 1:18).

 

I've never counted my collection. I have a lot of 1:43s because of lack of space. And I boxed them up in a plastic box for my remodel. I passed by it in the garage recently and I noticed one of the display cases had melted and one of my Murcielago roadster models had melted as well. I was too shocked to look at the rest of my collection.

I guess I'll try to claim this on my home insurance after the remodel is finished. And I take full tally of all damages incurred. That will be a painful day.

I HATE REMODELLING!

250 in scale 1:18(+/- 60 Ferraris)
11 in scale 1:12 ( 5 Ferraris)
some 1:43 and a lot of 1:64 HW, Matchbox and so far.

All in all I have 35 models, all 1/18-scale diecasts. 30 of them are Ferraris (plus two Maseratis, one Viper, one Porsche, and one Bugatti). 17 of my models are with me in my new home in Jerusalem, while 18 remain in Montreal until I have the chance to bring them over (though some are hardly worth the trouble).

In addition, I've got three new models shipping right now: a Jouef 330 P4 targa, a Mattel 430 Spider and an AutoArt Bugatti Veyron.
