I know that 350 were made. (There was one with a plaque that said "000/350," but it was wrecked.) I think only 1 in blue, 2 in white, 1 in matte black.
I think there are two matte black SVs in Miami alone but I am not sure how many other ones are out there.
I'm 99.9% there are two Matte Black. One with SV decal and one without it. Unless the guy took it off. I've seen one myself and a friend of mine has seen one w/out SV decal. I'm sure Roy will chime in and correct any of us
I saw 1 Matte Black in Miami, Pretty sure owner of Prestige Lambo bought it for himself Fantastic car
Depends if you are talking world wide or USA Total of 351 cars were built. Only 42 USA vin cars, (pretty low) however only 37 USA cars on our soil. 1 USA car in Germany, 1 in Singapore, 2 in UAE, 1 in Manila. The German one is a USA Citizen stationed in Germany, so should be coming back to the USA when he returns. As far as colors Only 1 Monterey Blue WORLD wide, was mine here in the USA..sold to a lucky owner in NY recently Two Fontus Blue cars, one in the USA one in Euro Three matte Black cars, but only two are real matte Black as one was wrapped here in the USA Only three VI cars, one in the USA, one at the factory and one in euro I know of at least 5 cars worldwide that have been "wrapped" in aftermarket colors. As of Friday, there are ONLY 3 USA SV cars available for sale that are not on Dealers list or already spoken for. In recent weeks the last Pearl Orange one has sold, up here in Seattle. ANd off all these cars ONLY 5 cars equiped with a 6 speed Manual gear box, 2 in the USA..my white #12 with small wing and small logo and another white in Texas with Large wing. The other three are out of the USA.
IMHO I don't think it is possible to have a LHD car in singapore, unless the owner only drives it in his front yard.
WHY would Lambo build ONE Monterey Blue , 3 Matte black and a bunch in that stupid Orange color ? MB & flat black are amazing, The Orange just looks like a giant pumpkin
If the car is still on USA plates there's not much Singapore can do about it. As far as they're concerned, he's over there for a holiday .
In-correct, will still only be 351 total produced cars.. The end of the run was "reserved" so to speak for these car to complete the total run of 351 cars. And the final total of only 42 USA VIN cars produced, however only 37 remain on US Soil
Factory will close its doors to visitors from 6th May up to end of 2011 February... I saw dismantling of Murci production line & tools, the last LP-670 SVs produced, finished & prepared for delivery as well as the last 5 Roadster Reventon... So 2011 for sure will start with a new era for Lamborghini : replacement of Diablo base Murcielago, presentation scheduled for next Geneva car exhibition ! See you there in less than a year !
Originally the SV was to be sold in limited colors; yellow, orange, black, white, and grey. The car didn't take off right away. It the middle of the giant economic slump and dealers were still trying to get rid of LP640 inventories. Lamborghini had a lot of customers sitting on the fence pending different color choices. I was one of those people. When I got the call about the only US VIN Verde Ithaca from the factory, I dove on it. I love the color. Others did the same thing. Some of the single color choices were customer ordered cars who bailed on the order after the car was in production. I'll correct Roy on the VI car in Italy. It's not at the factory. Someone at the factory told me it belonged to someone who's a collector in Italy and is not driven. The other VI is in Eastern Europe. Few SVs will hit the used market because it's a very unique and rare car. They made substantial refinements to the car and those tiny changes got very little attention in the marketplace but they make all the difference.
Does anyone know where this car is..? Is for sale..? I would consider purchasing it to go along side my 2001 Diablo 6.0SE #19 in the same "limited" color special edition. I did send a set of 6.0 wheels in to the shop last week to match this gold color as well. Should be on my 2001 #19 this week, will post pics..I think it will look GREAT!
I think i saw a pic of this car outside the Affolter dealer at the other Lambo forum, so this car is probably in Switzerland.
