    Well, GP3 allows to change car physics and track adhesion completely so we did take care of all this and the cars basically drove like boats. But it still is not much fun with a 20 mph topspeed.

    You don't expect an ex-rally driver to agree with that, do you? ;)

    110% is fun, even if it's only 40 MPH.
    (Or especially so, as you can push the envelope with confidence, since losing it only bends the brightwork a tad.)

    (Although that may be a difference between a sim on the TV and having a real car strapped to your butt.)

    Hey, I have raced on an ice field, I know that 5mph can be fun.

    But that's exactly the difference between the sim and reality. 20 mph in the sim look like standing still. That's also the reason why some sims/games like PGR2 on the XBox use cars with overtuned physics to give the player a sense of speed.
