The guy has a point. It is way harder to finance a $50k used Ferrari than a $50k Lexus etc. Fact is most people who actually own an F car already have a bunch of cars. I would also imagine most F car owners have paid in cash!

Ahhh you can't have a mullet with 3" long hair on the sides. A mullet can be seen here if you desire to see what a mullet is...

Anyhoo for the comment on ANYONE can afford a 348, here is some quick data based in REALITY.

"A new car is second only to a home as the most expensive purchase many consumers make. According to the National Automobile Dealers Association, the average price of a new car sold in the United States as of June 1998 was $23,480."

The average car price did not increase 250% in seven years, the information was taken from this website...

And please feel free to post pictures of you fat guts, balding spots and limp dicks so I can make fun of you as well.

and for many it's hard to justify spending $50k on a 10+ year old ferrari when a new car will outperform it in almost every respect.

In twenty years what will that $50,000 Lexus be worth? How about that now 30 year old Ferrari? Take a 308, they are back up to $40,000+ and when 10 years old they could be had for $25,000 so they are slowly appreciating. Never seen a new Japanese or German car appreciate in a 20 year time frame. Now if we want to talk new Vette, that $50,000 car is worth $35,000 by the time you get it home.

Yes, that is a true mullet...all business in front, all party in the back.

You got the first and third dead on, but I do have a great head of hair for near 56.

That's just long hair, not a mullet. A mullet has short sides, that is the difference between that and just long hair. I've had hair 4ft long, I've had mullets, I've played in bands for 22+ years, I have some hair experience between myself, bandmates and other people at gigs. People call anything with longer hair in the back a mullet, but that just shows ignorance. A proper mullet has very short sides, medium length top and long in the rear. If you have have 3" long hair on top and the sides, and 6" in the rear you do not have a mullet, but if you want to show the world your ignorance so bad, go ahead.

You do not need a Ferrari to join the FCA. You do need one to join the Ferrari Owners Club which is factory sponsored from Italy. The same rules apply to the fortunate few who want to buy an Enzo.....you have to be a documented owner of more than one Ferrari to order an Enzo.

No kidding. Some are even silver subscribed.

Why do you feel a need to pick a fight on every thread? This isn't some faceless ricer board, it's a pretty tight community of mostly successful people. People who can help, or hinder....

Back on topic, I would venture that about 75% of the active posters in the Texas area are owners, based on who I've met and who I know others have met.

Damn!!! Maybe I need to find an old truck site since I drive a 91 Toyota...its rusty, its old, and at 157,00 miles it just wont die. I'm a looser, I don't have a mullet, but I guess I'm a looser. My truck is red...does that count for anything? I've been alot of things, but jellous of social rejects that need nice cars to fill some personal empty feeling...I am not. I happen to enjoy performance and Ferrari automobiles are the pennicle. If I own one good deal. If not, no sleep will be lost. Personally, enthuisists take pictures of cars, loosers dress up and take pictures of themselves (alone) by their car.

Is that how they spell losers by you? And you caught me, I got all dressed up with the only button down shirt and tie I own, had to pay the neighbor's kid to take the picture since I have no real friends, I'm off to cry now.

You may want to work on your spelling however, unless you've got a screw that is "looser". What does jellous mean? Is that a hair care product for non-mullets? I must say however, owning a Ferrari is the "pennicle" of my lowly existence.

Maybe 250 actual Ferrari owners on this site max, closer to 150 is more accurate.
