Just wondering how many of you guys actually race your car drag strip 1/8 or 1/4 mile wise. If so what type of car whats your trap and et? For example: 2.2 60ft 13.3@109mph thats my car (not a ferrari) Thanks!
lol tell me about it. if i can get a 2 or lower ill be in the 12's with that mph. stock rubber is killing me, time for some dr's. so not alot of people drag race their ferrari's?
A 2.2 60ft with a 109mph trap speed running low 13's is about right. Mid 12's equate to around 114mph trap speed High 11's/low12's 118mph trap speed.
My drag racing freinds tell me a tenth off your 60 foot is 2 tenths off the quarter....and 2.2 is pretty bad I took my 308 up...man I just realized it was over a year ago...any wya I had some trouble with the supercharger and a 60 foot time is all I got, it was 1.8 with 35 psi in the tires. I'm going to try really hard to get back up this summer now that everything is working right.
First time and the last time I went to the track I did 11.90's i dont remember my mph, all i know is it seemed real fast to me. It was in my stock viper gts. I dont think i will go again.
My best was 11.68 @ 119mph (if I remember the MPH right) on a pretty much stock Viper. The 60' was 1.59 and that was on stock street tires (MXX3's) with about 29psi in them.
11.17 @ 120mph. Can't remember the rest of the times. The car was a '69 Camaro SS with a 3 speed Hurst transmission and 4:11 gearing in the rear. Supercharged 350 putting out 475whp. The maximum speed of the car was around the 135-140mph mark.
