I was just wondering cause my dad drives his like 2 times a month which i seem pointless with all the money being spent monthly. Do you guys drive less to keep mileage low or for service reasons?

4-6. Usually at least once every weekend. And I typically put 100+ miles on it each time. Buy it. Love it. Drive it.

About 6-8 times a month I usually take it to work a couple of times a month so it gets a good run.

the 308 is too clean for regular use, i feel guilty getting it dirty so i drive it once every weekend for 20-25 miles (4 times/mo). the TR comes out every chance i get when it's dry, 3-4 times a week, also 20-25 miles each time (12-16 times/mo).

    Not enough!

I drive it every weekend the weather is acceptable, for 20-30 miles.

A couple of weeks back I put about 100 miles on it; did a weekend drive with some fellow F-chatters.

Almost every day when I get home from work...I've put 14k miles on my 355 spider in 19 months. Drove about the same with my previous 78 308GTS and 1987 328 GTS. Life is too short...keep on drivin' and smilin'!!

I cannot believe someone would beuy one of these cars only to drive once or twice per month for 20 to 30 miles...

    I know, I know........

I wish I could drive it nightly. Frankly, between the family and work the only "me" time I have is Saturday, when I got out for a spin.

    I'm jealous!

Don't care how many miles it has or how often it needs service we have 2 people at home and 7 vehicles. Never have time. Sometimes the Ferrari, Lambo and Harley go months without being used.

Many clients have 20 or more cars and are busier than I. Some of their cars will go a year or more without being used. It is the price of having a lot of toys and not much time.

Also have a pool that gets used 6 or 7 times a year, what should I do, dig it up?

For me the amount of time they do get used justifies having them.

4-6 time a month. At least once a week and usually about 50 miles per trip for those trips to nowhere and back. More miles (200-300) when going to visit friends/ect. Have done 6,000 miles in 9 months.

About once a week on average. Usually a round trip that averages about twenty miles. Occasionally a longer ride (70-100 miles). Not much use, but it is still like an event when I go for a ride.

Last month it was about 5/6 times, only 2 so far this month due to other commitments.
she has to sit in the garage and wait, :0( athough I do tend to tinker in the evenings after dark because I can pop in and out of the garage and not be missed.

I must add its still a great feeling when you fire her up in the drive and have to wait for the engine to warm up before you drive off. I usualy run round with a polish cloth incase a spec of dust may be sitting on the paint work.

    "Quite mad really"

    Mark...

ditto Dave. I'm at 11-12k miles in a bit less time. Maybe 20x a month in good weather, at least once a month in winter. Wasn't there an article in Forza last year about a gent. in Italy who uses his 250GTO as his DD with his dog?

I try to drive mine every days off. Once or twice every 4 days that is. We dont have great driving roads here.......they are worn out/bumpy and the scenery sux ass, so my cruise usually only lasts around an hour each time because of sheer bordem. But the car is such a joy to drive. :)

You guys need to get out more often!!! I drive at least 2-3 days during the week and then both days on the weekend!!! If you want an investment buy government bonds or a CD..... Boys and girls these bad boys need to be seen / heard / and pointed at more!!! It's almost like community service with a smile on almost everyone's face!!!

    Sonny.....

P.S. there is a local guy here who has had his 360 for about 5 months and had put over 8,000 miles on it... He's my hero!!!
