How many your 308 GTSi's have different sender?

    I posted this in the Tech section and got only 1 reply.

    I have a 1981 308 GTSi that is haveing speedometer problems and F-chatters
    have suggested replacing the sender.
    I removed the sender this morning and it is NOT 116987.
    The vin # indicates my car was built in 1980.
    It still has the 85mph speedo.
    Has anybody else with the 85mph speedo have the old carb sender?
    I have searched the site and believe the correct part VEGLIA # 681041, Ferrari #s 106324, 124146.
    B4 I ordered a new sender, I cleanded up the old one' electrical contacts
    and reiinstalled it. Tested fine in reverese and 1st on my lift.
    Just got back from a 50 mile road test and it works.
