I'm trying to determine how many of the 703 Mondial 8's, built in 1982, were LHD, imported to the US, and were black on black. I know I've seen several posts regarding numbers, but can't find them... Appreciate any help...

Can't remember who, but I copied the image so that I wouldn't lose it.

Doesn't have color breakdown. That's something that I would very much like to have.

Wow, more than half of the 3.2 Cabriolets ever made ended up in North America! Didn't know that it was the most common (if you can call 449 units "common") and coveted Mondial over there!

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

This list always blows my mind in terms of the rarity of this car.

In the US alone you only have 346 coupes and 1,110 convertibles.

I think it's fair to say at least 10% of these were parted out, inoperable, totalled.

I would say probably around 300 coupes and 1,000 convertibles in the US. TINY numbers....it makes it all the more special when one is seen in the wild.

Blows my mind when comparing to modern cars. I think Ford pumps our more F150s in 1 hour, than the total production run of Mondials!
These truly are special cars! (and not just in terms of rarity).
