Anyone know how many F-40 made for the U.S. and how many F-50 made for the U.S. market?
Most of the time, I would've told someone to ask you! Sorry, I can't help you for sure. I have an idea, but I'm sure someone will be along with a definitive answer before too long...
I heard 50 F50's were made for the US market. Then some improrted and exported so no one knows the exact number which are here currently. I could be wrong though.
No, I wish... A friend of mine asked. I told him i'll find out. I know there are 49 F-50s. (I found that out). Now I need to know about the F-40s.
Let's not forget the population in these countries: US: 260.000.000 + (i belive) Germany: 80.000.000 + (please correct me if I'm wrong) Norway: 4.500.000 = 2 F40, 0 F50, 0 Enzo LOL
Incredible, this means that more than 10% of the produced Enzos went to Germany... Pretty impressive for a 80 million people country.
Just about 300,000,000 in the US now... The German allocation isnt so remarkable as a EU spec car is a EU spec car. German dealers are prob high volume so they get the allocation but how many EU nations border or are driving distance from Germany? The number prob exceeds the US population.
He asked about US model F50s, not all F50s. There are probably more because I've seen 1996 F50s, but I haven't really heard of any 1997s in the US. Anyone have any estimates of grey market F50s?
I believe that Germany is the second biggest market for Ferrari's globally - the US being biggest with the UK in third (I think). As such, it would stand to reason that they got a fair few Enzo's and F50's.
Carbon, are you sure? Over a hundred? Sounds a bit extreme, considering only 399 were made. I have a hard time believing that. A Ferrari owning friend of mine from London told me that london alone has around 40 Enzo's, and if germany had around 50, then we are already at the 200 mark (UK has more than the 40 in london). Japan is a huge market too, and they probably have at least 50 also. That leaves 150 for the rest of the world? sounds pretty unlikely - but you are the Enzo expert
I'm amazed there are only 399! I know thats the official figure, but considering how often you see them versus seing F40's, its amazing that there are on 399. I'm not saying you see them every day, but I think I have seen more Enzo's than I have F40's on the open road.
