    A friend of mine in the Raleigh area has some silver dollars she might sell, but we don't know what they are worth or who she can trust to deal with?
    She needs someone with numismatic knowledge as well as mineral value.

    You'll have to look up exactly what she has. I just picked Eagles since they're most common. If they're rare coins you'll need a dealer.

    A good starting point is ebay. Go look at auctions for the same coin, click "completed auctions" and you will get a wealth of what similar items sold for.
