I think the best way to establish what the market is for a F355 is to take a poll of the acutal owners of the cars. If we can all be honest, I would like to see if we can get a feel of price based on year, color and milage, as well as coupe, gts, or Spyder.

    I will start.

    1995 F355B 30,200 miles, Red/Tan purchased May 2006.

Although I would not disclose MY purchase price of MY355
    (1999' 355 F-1 GTS)

I will say the price you paid is RIGHT ON for todays price as long as the car was current (all services done)/with records/no salvage title/and a 8 in condition w/ no accident history ........and not some weird color combo like pink w/ purple and yellow interior.

    Hey Peter,
"driven everyday", I have always told people you are "my Hero"!! i do swear, they have to be driven. I take mine out at every opportunity. Terri and I are taking it to Lime Rock this weekend for the Ferrari Challenge race. Should be interesting and an excuse to get off the rock. i am glad I can put you on the "list" Peter because I will have your undivided attention when something goes wrong and I need to fix it with your phone help!!! By the way, I am still trying to sell my Mondial. There could be a nice clam dinner in it for ya'. Don't let anyone say I am not a big spender!! Be good

The one thing I forgot! It is a B and the headers were done as well. Plus there don't seem to be an issue with the guides on this car after almost 20K miles. But if it does happen, I will just tear the heads off myself and have it done by a local machinist that knows what he is doing.

1997 355 GTS black/black 5,000 miles Included full and complete service. I bought it last year after looking for about a year. I paid $92 grand (I sure top dollar) and it looks and runs every bit of it. Right car, right time, right buyer, and less than motivated seller. After looking for a year I didn't give a shi#! I wanted the car damn it and I got it.

You'll never regret paying a bit more for a great car. You'll regret paying less for a POS for the rest of your life.. ;)
    Well bought!

Is that the Silver and Red one from e car link. It looks like a very nice car, however I wonder what the red interior is like in person.

98 Spider, 26K miles, top condition, complete records and current maintenance. $89K

I looked for quite a while and at a lot of cars but I never found any of the deals that it looks like people are talking about here. Maybe I didn't look hard enough or was too picky. Net, I know that I didn't get a screamin' deal but I don't lose any sleep over having paid too much either.

Nicely done- although I own a 348 I can attest to the fact that if you invest some time on the front end you can't go wrong. I looked for my car for about a year too. Price guide may say I paid too much but my opinion is always find another like it......

As an alternative in retail pricing, I have two values of 355's that were sold recently in dealer auctions. These cars are probably still being offered for sale out there.

For you 1998 355 Berlinetta guys

    * May 06 sold in California area for $73,500 - Red car with 22k miles

    * July 06 sold in Penn. area for $66,750 - Black car with 23k miles

    (Just alittle inside information)
