How much do people pay for a gallardo or 430 monthly?

I paid $100,000 down and $3000 per month
and the insurance is around $10000 a year without discount

If you had to lease, 25% down, plus 7.5% interest for 3 yrs (do the math) plus taxes.

The numbers aren't necessarily that far off, assuming it is financed, and depending on the term (36, 48, 60?). Also I'm assuming he's talking in CAD, not USD. Insurance also seems in line for a new car with its risk rating and replacement value. I'm assuming deductible is $5k or so as well, right?

I have a 2005 F430 Spider for sale right now which can be leased (in fact it was leased when I sold it last year)...........$150K security deposit required.......$3,875 mo + GST.....36 months......etc...etc....

The only way I can get your numbers to work, according to my lease calculator, is if you are being charged 15% interest (money factor of 0.00625).

I'm guessing the 3k a month includes GST and PST. It however should not include your insurance costs. Did you include your insurance costs in your 3k figure?

Okay, that must have been what you did. If one backs out 833 per month, your interest rate comes in around 9%, which is still very high for third party lenders. Out of Vancouver, I'm guessing you used either Transportaction or WS Leasing.

Better have a chat with those boys about your lease rate.
