I believe the 328 are 3170 lbs. So the 308 may be around that. Can't imagine it would weigh more.

Put Euro bumpers on and you'll save 70 lbs at least.

Is it me or is that WAY heavy for a car the size of a 308??? I know they have the reputation of being heavy, but I would have guessed 2800 pounds just to look at them. What's a 355 weigh?

Come in here dear boy have a cigar you're gonna go far -- Pink Floyd

Remove spare tire (25 lbs approx)

    Remove AC (60 lbs approx)

Remove stock seats for Sparco Roadster (30 lbs reduction)

Ok, go CF body panels (??? weight and BIG $$$$)

ATTACK unsprung weight :) (see below)

Brembo brakes w/floating hats and Girodisc rears (save about 18 lbs. increase braking performance)

Dump stock suspension for Nick Forza (Fchat sponsor) suspension (save 25 lbs approx).

IF metric rims, dump them for Kinesis or other LIGHT yet rigid rims and better rubber (a crapshoot on weight, but enhanced performance).

Buy a EURO CAR to begin with, lighter bumpers, higher compression, no cat pipes, etc.

i believe the car here (1985 308GTS QV) weights in wet with driver (175 lbs) and 1/2 tank at about 2,900 or so.

Am sure i forgot MANY other 'tricks'.
