    One thing I forgot to mention is find a shop with dedication and love to the car. You don't want to be just another customer in the crowd.

    My car is also a ROW SC; estimate was $7-$10K, so it came in ±50% over after the paint was removed. Some minor repair to bodywork, mostly small dings. Biggest issue contributing to cost was complete removal of fenders (for interior rust remediation) vs the original estimate that only specified "separation" of fenders to paint and replace the black cowl beading.
