When I put my car up in the air and try to spin both front wheels I feel some drag and if I don’t actively spin it the wheels will stop within a half turn unless I really get them moving before I take my hand away.

Haven’t tried the rear wheels as I had the front up only to check with soapy water a 2lb low tire.

    Thanks,
    Cheers,
    Corey

Try a fine feeler gauge between the pad and the disc, are the gaps the same. Or take the calliper off the disc and put a wood block in which is a few mms narrower, then apply brakes and see if wood is free after you release brakes, will show if pistons are sticking

Frozen or freezing calipers are very common on CCB brakes and caliper rebuilds should be considered routine. New Hill pistons are part of the rebuild.
There were racing calipers put on a street car and probably should never have been used.

what would be the size feeler would I need to check the brake page clearance? Is 0.05mm too thick?

If it’s got a gap then it is not catching. Try the thinnest and work up

Do you notice it while driving? I have 2005 with ccb, had to get a brake service done this past summer, I noticed it not rolling like it should during prolonged stop and go.

Dealer said the rubber lines can bulge over time, also we found cracked pad. All good now.

I use HEL lines on my car. Very good quality swaged stainless fittings https://auto.helperformance.com/hel-braided-brake-lines-for-ferrari-f430-all-engines

There shouldn't be any drag regardless of brake type: if working correctly the pistons will retract into their bore to leave pad/disc clearance. Other issues can be sticking pads due to material build up around their mounting areas, and corrosion on the pins.

If you want to be sure then take the calliper off the disc, put a length of wood that is a lot thinner than the disc between the pads and apply the brakes. The pistons will come out more than they normally do, check they have all moved out and do they return fully. If you have one sticking or seized you will find it.
