Hello, I am looking to buy a 1964 Maserati 3500GTi which looks to be in good condition. What price range are they selling for these days? I have seen them in the 90K-150K range is that the ballpark number?

Yep, thats the current range. Interim versions with 5-speed and 4-carbs (very rare on this version) is expensive!).

    Ciao!

Generally no. Early 3500 GT's seem to obtain the highest values of late. As Walter B. stated, one to look for is a 'Series II' 3500 GT or 'interim' car, late 1961-1962 with ZF 5-speed gear box, four wheel Girling disc brakes, and tripple Webber carbs, limited slip differental. If any model had Borrani wires wheels 3707 or 3872 that would push up value and desireability a great deal.

Many GTI cars have been converted back to Webber carbs, because of lazy ownership and lack of mantainance on the Lucas injection system. Which works well if maintained and serviced. But a well sorted and clean GTI with the Lucas injection will bring high $$$ as well.

    Ciao and best

    Walter,

    A 3500GT with 4-carbs would surely be very rare !! :)
