    Hey all

My workshop manual says that I need to add 100gr.of oil into the clutch gear section

How much is 100gr.of oil? Should I weigh the oil before it goes in?

I always put in what I took out, I would say about close to 1 liter.

Why doesn't it just say the volume, like all the rest, instead of the weight?

Maybe it's 100grains, instead 100grams, like my hogdgon H1000 for my 338-378 Weatherby Magnum cartridges, LOLOL

    Regards

Any excess will flow into the transmission.

    Really?

Maybe I should just fill the gearbox from there instead? Until it flows from the drain plug in the gearbox

    Regards

The drain plug? I really hope you mean the fill plug.

If you have all day. It takes forever to fill it there.

It takes a while but if you don't have a ramp/lift & the means to get the oil into the side of the box, its a very easy way to do it. Long funnel or a piece of hose & a funnel & 4 1/4 bottles of Redline usually does the job......:)
