It really depends on the quality of programmer/s and which country they are from.

Anything from $5k to $50k per app would be reasonable.

A friend and I are just starting a business in that sector and might have a cheap solution for you. If you're interested, PM me with the details of the app you'd like to have, and I can tell you if we have something for you.

Otherwise, Tony is correct - $5k for a small app programmed by gentlemen from India seems to be the starting point.

Thanks mate! :) Android and iPhone. If anyone wants to have an app for his company or whatever nowadays, Android is absolutely a must. Only the iPhones are in the media when it comes to mobile phones being able to run apps, but unnoticed by the public, there are more phones running Android sold now than iPhones.
If I wanted to have an app and had to decide between iPhone (or rather iOs) and Android, I'd go with Android. You'll reach more people that way. Ideally, you'd have your app programmed for both operating systems, then you have the market covered. (The solution we provide will run on both systems for a fraction of the cost of having to have the same app programmed twice for both OS, but I've spammed here enough already ;))
