Can anybody tell me how much weight a complete 308 engine ? I need to know this for pull the engine out. Dirk
500-600 lbs with transmission, bell housing, no exhaust. Make sure your engine crane is rated for 2000 lbs, and with low profiles caster wheels, and a leveler
We just pulled & replaced JWise's engine, and 500-600 is about right. BTW, it's a lot easier to leave the front manifold on when pulling/installing the engine.
