It's simply not as nicely designed as a car of equivalent moneys. The Pagani's carbon for instance, the way all panels align perfectly. Simply superb, and you really notice the extra time they've spent to justify the money they charge in the details. It doesn't make the car any more exciting to drive, but it's a nice touch. Surely if you're sitting in traffic in your F70, one day you'll notice the the carbon simply doesn't allign so well as in a Pagani, and it might bother you a bit. In the end, for me personally it doesn't matter. They could have the interior of an F40 for all I care, I'd still lust after each of them. I just lust after a Zonda 760 a tiny bit more, hence I'd pay more for one of those than a LaF.
LOL I got to see a Pagani (Huayra) up close and in the flesh. It is most certainly NOT a kit car. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
It finally clicked for me the other day. The Ferrari interiors are starting to have the same look and feel as a lot of the cheap licensed Ferrari store trinkets like the shoes, baby toys, cell phone cases, laptop stuff, pens, etc......kind of bothering me lately.
+1 Mclaren F1 I suppose is a kit car too... Enzo's first cars also didn't have a Ferrari engine, where they all kit cars too? Fact of the matter is that Pagani's engine's are hand built by AMG specifically for them. No Mercedes gets the same engine.
If you are referring to tha AR GP cars, of course they didn't have a Ferrari engine. If you are referring to the AAC car, it had a Ferrari engine based on a Fiat design. The cars that bear His surname have always had Ferrari engines.
As an Pagani Zonda F Clubsport owner I can tell you it's far from it, I've seen mine built up close and the amount of fine details and craftsmanship is up there with the best and one of the best out there. Mr.Pagani won't approve anything less of perfect nor his wonderful Team. Mbn
Do you mean because HP doesn't manufacture his own engine? That's a point, but the car's performance, specs, fit and finish are virtually unmatched. So is the value appreciation . . .
Dare I say the king of the bad interiors (Corvette) might be over thrown by Ferrari if they keep head down the current road they are on. Design wise I think they are getting a bit tacky.
Does not matter how much it is, In 48 months you will be sending the interior parts to sticky no more... I would pay sticker price.
.. that's why you don't have one. Most of the opinions on this thread doesn't matter because these are not LaF customers. "I would not pay a penny more than msrp" " I would pay a half million over msrp" "i would pay zero dollars for it" Does it matter? Nobody's offering it to you. 499 people paid $1.4M+ for it and almost all of them have 5+ Ferraris.
Some of us with 5+ Ferrari's, and are getting LaFerrari, still wouldn't pay over MSRP for one. Not yet, anyway. I fully expect them to be worth more than MSRP, eventually. But folks who buy & flip? I hate them. And can't ever encourage feeding them anyone's hard earned (or not so hard earned) money.
Doesn't matter. 499 people with 5+ Ferraris paid for the LaF already. There are other people with 5+ Ferrari still want it. "Some of us with 5+ Ferrari's, and are getting LaFerrari" So Green Lantern, you have 5+ Ferraris'? What's your garage?
Yes. Agreed. Just saying that I don't condone buy and flip. People will pay whatever they are willing to part with, sometimes that ends up more than they really should be parting with, but hey, it's their money.
