How much would you pay to drive the most elite supercars in the world for half an hour each? I saw a company that does it, just curious what real car buffs would spend?

Check the prices of the 1,000,000 companys that do this already.

I think the Gotham Dream Cars guy is a member of this board, he might be able to tell you were supply and demand have pu the price.

i think the price ranges around $800 to $1000. frankly, i don't think these companies do it as a promotional tool vs. revenue generator. it's a great deal to pay given the risk/reward ratio.

just think....one minor little mishap can result in thousand of dollars in repair for these companies.....and god knows, anything can happen at any given time with these cars.

ps: for what it's worth, noel of gotham runs a great company...

I looked into that latest link on the car mags...

comes out to about $130 per half hour, with a 430, Gallardo, DB9 and a few others...I'm not sure what a Z06 is doing there too, nice but not in that league.

Perhaps I'm off base, but I don't think insurance is your problem...

Let's consider the likely top 4 cars (in no particular order):
    1. Veyron
    2. Enzo
    3. Pagani Zonda (I know you can't get it into the US... I don't think that's the deal breaker either)
    4. McLaren F1

    All told that's about $4Million.

Assuming you can come up with the money to purchase the cars, and assuming you can find them to buy in the first place (McLaren will be the most difficult), you would have to charge an awful lot to justify the overhead. IMO that is your problem.

Prob need to Charge $40-50/mile (very rough estimate) to be profitable...

So assume a 4 hour driving day. 50 miles per car. 200 miles total. prob need to charge $8-10K.

IMO, not that many people willing to pay that kind of money....

Disclaimer: I have put a whole 5 minutes into this post. Feel free to disagree with any of my assumptions. One thing I can tell you for sure, is you will lose money a $20/mile! (when you factor in depreciation, insurance, maintenance).

Edit: To answer you question... How much would you pay? My answer is not enough for you to be profitable.
