Sawasdee krub. I have been visited this website everday for a while. I really wonder that all of you (P' Theera, P'Mon, P'Pong, P'Pom, etc.) need to work very hard to own one Ferrari or you guys just got a lot of luck. Right now I'm 25 years old, of course that I don't own any Ferrari but I wish to one in a future and I really want your answer to be my inspiration to fight for a pony. How old are you when you own the first pony?

My 512TR costs me an arm, a leg, a kidney, a lung, and half of my liver plus 2 cars.... :)

P'Pom words are wise...step by step and hard work...

Work hard, save a lot, and keep on searching for the right car...then you will find one.

Owning F-car is never easy...:) but it's worth all the effort you put into it.

    Hi Tony91,

I took P. Theera's advice and already dugged up half my garden and rip up half my house .. still couldn't find enough treasure to get a pony.

Don't worry ... I'm 28 and have been working for 7 yrs .. it should take me NO more than 2 yrs to get my first pony.

Join the club .. FIGHT HARD and own what we love.

    K. Choopong,

That's funny. Yes, I did recommend you to dig up your garden to find out if you had any hidden cash in black bin bags, if not try the neighbour's garden for some luck. It's good to know that you are still very determined.

    Tony91,

Most people think that ponies are for the more "financially fortunate", I disagree because you could from time to time find one of the dozen 308s' out there for about Baht 1.5 million. Maintenance on most is simple, because parts are readily available at the same cost as for those of a Mercedes. In my opinion you should start by not aiming too high up the ladder of what's available in the vast model range, start at the right level that you'll be comfortable, that's financially. Trust me, no one is going to give you the cold shoulder if you end up with one of the earlier or less desirable models, if they do then they are not worth knowing. In my opinion always start with a good pony, however, some people believe that they are able to put new life into a wreck. One last advice, please make a good attempt at finding and reading all the available material on the model that you are dreaming about before handing over the cheque so you know what you are getting yourself into, I made that damn mistake on my first purchase 14 years ago.

Good luck and hope that your dream becomes a reality soon.

I've been buying Lotto since I was in USA for more than 8 years, still did not win any to buy F-cars. Was trying to dig neighbor's garden but almost shot by a rifle. That was not help either.

Work hard krub and you will get what you dream of. But don't forget to study hard as well. More knowledge more wise more chances to win in Business.
It cost a lot of tiles to own 1 F-cars.

Thanks to all advice krub. After I read all of it, I think I could start with a 308 by selling a car that I own now. I used to try 348 for a very short time and I really understand the feeling when hearing the sound of an engine and the sound when you shift the gear after I have been reading about those sound from a car magazine since I was a child. My dream car is 355 krub. I will work very hard as all of you give me advices for 5 years and try to own it.

I also have another question to ask all of you krub. I would like to know that your desire to own or to drive an F car, Is it decrease when you get older or having a family? I guess all of you feel the same as you were young because all of you have a little pony heart in your chest.

Thanks to all of you for nice and warm answers krub.
Hope all of you own more and more F car soon.

Ha.... I am not old, so I still want to drive my car everyday krub...ha ha...

I simply like driving, so I think if I am old I would still be driving something.

I don't think it's the question about age but passion krub. If you love it, you will try your very best to keep doing it... :)

I guess that it is a combination of things that you have to take into consideration before being able to get a car of your dream unless you are blessed with family hierloom.
Obviously, you need to have passion for Ferrari and if you are not married then the pony will arrived faster!!
However, if you are married then your pony will have to be sacrificed for the neccessities in live for your family first. Once that is done then there should not be a problem providing that 'the wife does make a fuss of it'!!
I got my first F car about 6 years ago and could only 'afford' it for about 6 months due to its conditions and other complication. After that I went to buy a Porsche and other sport cars after but nothing compared to a pony. But just got a nice 328 last month and very happy and proud.
Good luck, work hard and no one is ever too old for a Ferrari so hope you get one soon.

    Hi Tony,
The more you save up the faster you can buy your first F-car, right? Got a savings tip for you, buy only what you need. If you take a good look at all your belongings you will discover that most of the stuff you have you don't really need, and if you translate that into money terms, you can probably have a 308 right now. And as far as age is concerned, its just numbers. I am 47 and the passion for the prancing stallion only grows. Wish you the best, and hope your dream will become reality soon.

    Morning Tony91,
Not too worried about it, ... just start selling the parts that you have 2 of .. eg. your lungs, eyes, arms, kidneys ... etc. This way you will have one of each left for the next time around.

P'Pom krub. If you can't find the box in HK, you can try contacting Ferrari UK krub. They might be able to help you finding it quickly. I got the brake pad with in 3 days!! And they are looking for TR tail lights for me. Your car is extremely rare, so it will be difficult finding parts for it, but gotta keep your hope up.

I saw your car at Ferma when I dropped my TR off. I guess they were having problem with the gear selector because the car would not move... :(
