the guy driving the 355 cant own the car... either stole it or its dad's car. He could have cracked it up 5-10 times in that few minutes, nobody who owns it would drive it like that.

Seriously, it almost made me sick watching it. It reminded me of some guy I saw in a 355 a couple weeks ago. He would go flying from light to light, and while waiting for the next green was blasting music and trying to look cool revving his engine constantly. I almost rolled my window down and told him hes making himself look like an ass. Hes not the kind of guy that should have the privelege of owning such a beautiful car. Really makes all F-car owners look bad.

Maybe he was just drivin' it like he stole it --- nah, car thieves don't want to attract police.
Unless it was in the family.

What's the deal with the camera car? Showin' off for the camera?

What you might have here is some kid with a new video camera and another kid with daddy's ride lookin' to make their own movie --- without a script, storyboard, ... or a clue.

    -- OR --

Man, those F1 transmissions are hard to get used to! ;)

Not to worry, remember the basic laws of physics: A large body (such as a tree or lamp post) wants to remain at rest. And soon enough, all the 355 owners will have a parts car to pick at.

I figure it this way, a certain amount of those drivers give our Ferrari brothers in the Service shops an income. I'll get back with you for the owners/drivers that deliberately send a good Ferrari to the salvage yard, when I think of something.

That video is in the city of Goiana in central Brasil.....either the car was stolen (most likely IMHO) or the owner is the atypical rich kid out for an afternoon's fun.

As to how he drove it.....if he paid for it none of us can tell him how to drive it....just my opinion of course.....after all how are the esteemed techs on this site going to survive if we all idled around in our cars from disco to deli at 20 kmh ?....heh.

What a friggen' moron. The first time he spun out I thought he was going to hit the guy on the bike standing there, he couldn't have missed him by more than a few feet. Anyways, watching videos of goons treating expensive cars like that makes me sick.

I wasnt saying he should drive it like an old woman because believe me, my cars are "excercised" but in a much safer manner. I never put anyone else in danger like those two were.

Isn't the only real problem (well maybe the music too) that he's doing this on a street near others? If he were on a track driving seriously and spun out or in an cleared lot doing "drifting" practice, there would be lots of "cool" comments.

Youre right, I have never driven in Brasil is this sort of thing common?? I sure hope not, because I would like to visit Brasil and dont think the highlight of the trip would be being taken out by a car spinning....LOL. Although it might make a good story.

Not trying to be sarcastic here.....but they do produce a highly disproportionate number of world champion and other very highly regarded racing driver's in almost every category except NHRA......

It's a pretty wild place......and while I'll agree with you that I doubt I'll see burnouts on Avenida Atlantica in Rio......the rest of what I saw in the video was par for the course......traffic laws down there are merely a suggestion as enforcement consists of nothing more than a few strategically placed cameras that punch out "multas".....fines....

The first time I was driven around in a car in Rio my GF (now the wife) passed a cop car.....was speeding....cut in front of it without signalling....and changed lanes and turned without signalling also.....all in 10 seconds and in plain view......I was freaking out and she said not to worry.....they don't pull people over for that. So you do have a valid reason to be concerned if you ever go there......

C'mon you guys, are you telling me you don't drive like this from time to time? I do wicked smokey burnouts all the time in my 308.... Oh, wait, no I don't. :) I just wish my car could do this!
