This year I wouldn't be surprised if KR won the WDC, but McLaren won the WCC. How often does that happen and who was it? Thanks. Can you point me to a web site that would show it clearly? I couldn't find one.

It happens, but not too often. These are the only times its happened in the past 20-ish years. Happened in 83 as well. I used wikipedia for this information. I think you can get it from the F1 website as well.

86 Constructor - Williams, WDC - Prost (McLaren)
94 Constructor - Williams, WDC - Schumacher (Benneton)
99 Constructor - Ferrari, WDC - Hakkinen (McLaren)

Actually, it happened the very first year that the WCC was official. In 1958, Ferrari's Mike Hawthorn was the WDC, but Vanwall won the WCC.

In 1976, McLaren's James Hunt was WDC, but Ferrari was WCC.

And in 1983, Brabham's Nelson Piquet was WDC, but again Ferrari was WCC.

With Massa continuing the way he is, you'd have better put down

    2008- Raikkonen, McLaren
