    Here is a old 35mm picture i found of the "big day" when i brought the 308 home.

    I don't think Dad mind me driving on his nice grass. He didn't believe in watering the lawn.LOL




    After the excitment was over, in the pool with the big banana float. Those were the days. :D

    35. Went in, scratched my head, researched, etc, took a drive in it, smacked the grin of my face, couldn't belive what I was going to do, went home to count the pennies, called back a day later and said I'll take it! ;-)

    36, a 1974 Dino 308 GT4, Euro.

    Bought it locally, drove it home after a week, and two weeks later we found ourselves crossing half of Europe in it on our way to Venice, Italy, including fresh snow on the Brennero pass in the Alps (1/1/2007)

    (here still on its 15" wheels)

    Okay, if I post the original pic without the crappy photoshop, I think you'll get the idea....

    (Yes, that's the original Euro 18 inch spacesaver... You'll notice the regular rear wheel positioned nicely on the rear bench of the car - thank heavens for the 2+2 on the GT4!!)

    Wanted one for 20 years... finally bought one at 38 - it was my reward for surviving cancer (besides being alive and healthy!)

    My bestfriend and I went down to North Carolina, checked it out - then drove it back up to New Hampshire!!
