I, for one, after nealy two years of owning Ferrari cars, for sure my weekend has totally been changed. Before it was a weekend of relaxing listening to music, TV, movie, reading..., now it's a weekend of thrill driving. Of course, I had the Lotus for 10 years before the Ferrari. But, the Ferrari give me such thrilling no other cars can do..... I can go a week or two without driving the Lotus, But never the sexy Ferrari. I even try to stay fit just to be able to handle the car better. May be like an older guy try to stay fit to handle a much younger wife...., likt that? .... anyway, now, I look forward to my weekend very much so...

15 months ago I was in great shape. I was a hard core cyclist. All I thought about was getting on my bike and training. Now, 15 months later, I'm up about 16 lbs. and have lost most of my fitness. The good news is I think I'm a better driver now. This weekend I'm supposed to start training for an event in June, but the weather is not cooperating. I'll get back in shape next week. ;)

Before I used to ride motorcycles and get my thrills from that. After a crash(Suburban pulled out in front and I clipped it) that almost ended my life, the F has taken away the desire to ride. Heck, F saved my life :)

Me, too. Threw away a Duc 900 SS CR, busted collar bone, shoulder in five directions, three ribs. My wife doesn't object to the Ferrari, since I sold a GSXR 1000 K3 and won't buy another as long as I own a Ferrari

But I got to know a great group of people in Ferrari Club Thailand. Thrill of driving comes as an extra.

Odd, because I was considering a bike as well, but the Ferrari turned out to be a better solution for me.

People tend to ask me "how's the car doing?", and to those who don't much about cars a 328 and an Enzo are both Ferraris. I do plan my drives in the Ferrari much more than I did with my previous cars - best roads, safe parking, weather, etc.

While I don't yet own a Ferrari-- Ferrari in general has changed my life. Instead of playing or watching sports on TV I sit on the PC and read Ferrarichat and watch Fcar videos and read Road & Track.

If it wasn't for Ferrari, I probably wouldn't care so much about cars. Although, the Jaguar XJ-220 is the car that got me started (when I was 8) Sorry if it's so modern, I'm young! (22) I love the old ones too.

Anyway-- hope I don't offend anyone by being a future-owner!

I was broke before I got the Ferrari and now, I'm still broke. But, I'd rather be broke with a Ferrari than broke without one ;)

I am now spending much more time on the computer on Fchat. I also look forward to the weekend Ferrari events and pass the time in between doing whatever my family wants. I used to dread the other stuff, shopping, etc... Now I just consider it dues, and enjoy the time with the family more.

Not yet but 6 years ago I sold my 93 MR2 Turbo that I bought new in 93…I still miss her…..thinking I could never afford a Ferrari but was the closest thing to having one. But about a year ago while surfing I decided to check Canadian classifieds as a joke to see if any Ferrari’s were posted….and holy crap ….pages of them…and saw that prices were pretty reasonable (80K)….and then the goal began… I figured since they were about 20k more than my MR2 T and 5-10K from the truck I wanted and now own...it could be done

Knowing nothing about them I decided to do my homework being a certified mechanic in my younger days I knew I had to learn to not get shafted…So here I am…

I went from wanting a 328 to deciding to get a 348, saw one in town and the sound from the Tubi freaked me out and my wife said “wow, looks a little like your MR2 but possessed by the devil on PCP” I just looked her with a smile, she asked me if it was in my budget…..I said yes…she said “do it”

So im still looking….but did do a few things to the house…about 50K of renovations last summer and still one more left to do in a few weeks but on hold….my wife is due today…little girl on the way…

As a joke I told her she can have the baby today or Monday...F1 starts tomorrow....(hahahahahaha!!!!!!!)

Now I smile whenever I go into the garage. (even if it's just to get out the lawn mower or take out the trash)

A Ferrari is also an instant fix to a bad day. You just can't feel bad driving a Ferrari.

That sums it up for me. Ferrari makes bad days good and good days great. You also meet a lot of people whenever you stop.

For me my Ferrari makes me very happy. I never thought I would ever own one. Unfortunately I do put up with some grief from the wife. She wasn't 100% for the deal in the first place. but, A "man's gotta do what a man's gotta do" as they say. Hopefully someday she will come around. (I think she really has but will never confess). I enjoy the Ferrari too much to let her bother me. I don't know how much the car has changed me, allthough now I am a published co-author relating to Ferrari ownership. Never saw that coming. Maybe I'm getting more refined in my old age, I kinda like it too. Perhaps the Ferrari helps define that?

    Cheers

i dreamed about many cars in high school, the 308 being one of them. this is the first dream car that became a reality. over a year later, it still hasn't sunk in that i own it. and yeah, it's an instant makeover for the garage.

I'm definately a happier person since buying mine.

Don't know if it's entirely down to the car though!

I think life in general is better.

I say that after some splendid weather here in the Northeast over the weekend and I was able to wash and wax the 308.

I honked the horn at my wife while in the back and she nearly p***ed herself laughing.

SHE looks forward to me going out for a drive...I always come back with a smile and a better attitude towards life in general.

Yeah, I blow my nose and immediately walk that individual piece of kleenex out to the big garbage can in the garage. Then I hang out there until my phone rings. Talk about perfect mental health...
