I used to relie on alcohol, drugs, and cheap hookers for fun. Now I have the Ferrari and the more expensive hookers. Life is grand.
Life is definately better. I look outside and I smile every time. Driving it is definately special. No one can understand until they own one.
Ah, the vibrations through your body from the rumble of that big torquey motor just improves your digestion in ways that a little ricer can't ... Well, I did make the local forecast my home page. (But that was for the Alfa, even before I had a Ferrari.) The biggest change in my life: I'm hanging out more at Fchat instead of SciFi forums.
I was taken for a ride when I was 18. (1980 308 GTB) Blew me away. Got my 04 360 spyder over two years ago now. Every time I turn the key I smile. Its not as big a deal as it was when I just dreamed about the day when I owned one. I can move on to other things in my life, I could not seem to do when I was obsessed with Ferrari. It sustained me in my youth. Now it sustains me in middle age. At the end of the day it's car. A great one. But it's still a car. IMHO.
Before I bought my Ferrari I spent my spare time in the Gym now I spend it in the garage. I am really out of shape. I don't get any work done 'cause I spend a lot of time on the net. Searching this site, searching ebay, searching for parts, searching for tires, searching for open track days, searching for a motel room for the USGP, searching for pictures of women with Ferrari etc. etc. I certainly am happier since I bought my car when I drive it I get a smile, an adrenaline rush and an erection. I too used to get my adrenaline from racing motorcycles but that little bit of fear would take away the smile.
