How to beat Red Bull on Saturday

Nothing unexpected happened today. The only thing that can change the line up on Saturday is a mistake.

 

Or a mistake on Race Day. Red Bull should quite easily win this given the test pace yesterday. If not Red Bull then Ferrari possibly. Do not see a Mercedes win here this year.

 

Easy answer....... tell Maxine elton says he’s a spotty dipstick, and he can’t drive to save his life, and he wants a fight after school. Maxine will send him a note saying sure thing, let’s fight, and elton being a little girl, will refuse to turn up and snitch to Charlie that Maxine wants to beat him up.

That’ll get Maxine in trouble, and come Sunday, the smiling assassin will be parked up waiting at rascasse feigning KERS issues and iffy tyres, just to let elton past and then he’ll speed back up, and pitt manoeuvre him into the marina (I really wish this would happen, it would be so funny watching a soaking wet elton pulled out the water, crying his eyes out and claiming sexism, dwarfism and any other ism he can against lil Maxine! I’d personally pay Maxine’s wages for Sunday if he does it!

 

RBR might beat themselves up on Sunday ,if they lock out the front row,which looks possible,they would be crazy not to impose some kind of team orders.

Anyway In the spirit of this particular high brow "my driver can beat up your driver" Ferrari Chat dialogue, I'll just say.... Hamilton is a black belt (legit!) and could take on all comers in GP grid Royal Rumble!

Most likely it all comes down to qualifying.
Unless the timing of any safety cars throws it all up in the air.
Or a bad pit stop.
Or rain in Q or on race day.
HAM hasn't had any mechanical issues lately, so you never know!
Tiny chance of a surprise on the podium, why not dream big and get hometown hero Charles LeClerc up there in his shiny new Ferrari engine (all Haas and Saubers have made engines changes)
Maybe Jenson will show up and threaten to pee in someone's seat again!

On the more serious side, odds could be good that someone will have bad timing in qualifying and get held up, so we've got that to look forward to also, which could be a highlight for the weekend, along with anticipating two Red Bulls coming together at the St. Devote or the hairpin on turn one!

 

Yesterday was neither qualifying or a race.

 

I don't mind having the RBR outfront for a change. If they can be sandwiched between a Ferrari outfront and the Mercedes I wouldn't mind either.

Do not Red Bull have the shortest wheelbase chassis of the top three. I believe they do as Ferrari extended theirs for this year. It only makes sense that this track would naturally suit RB the most. This track is so unique that it doesn’t give a good reference for the cars in general so if RB are better than Ferrari here it’s not the end of the world. However the Scuderia would be wise not to become complacent.

 

Nothing wrong with a little light-hearted humour, but one or two out there need to wind their necks in a bit......just in case Ferrari blow it this year....again.

Really don't understand where all this visceral hate of Hamilton comes from. Its one thing to like "your team's" driver vs "their team's" driver...or to prefer the passion of a Senna vs the cool of Prost...but this compulsive obsessive hate of Hamilton can only be viewed as morbidly pathological. The guy is a four time world champion. Nobody gave that to him. He beat everyone else fair and square. I'm not into his fashion statements but that's his business not mine. The only thing that keeps the battles between him and Seb from being more exciting are the rules they both have to race under.

The Mercedes won the championships for him, on a level playing field, he barely beat Rosberg, and given similar equipment, at least five other CURRENT drivers wouldVe beaten him to his titles. He’s fast but dumb
