    Just to let you Know that the How To Build A Super Car program is on BBC 2 tonight at 8-00pm.

    This is about the building of the McLaren MP4-12C.

    Should be worth watching!

    Interesting to see McLaren's attention to detail, in fact an almost anal obsession for Ron Dennis.

    OK, I'm caught up now. :D

    Definitely very obsessive about the aesthetics of the factory. Not sure whether that'll build a better car or not, but they were extraordinarily meticulous about really very minor things.

    Sounds about right. We snagged the original McLaren factory on completion and Ron's attention of detail was OTT. For example he personally inspected every single floor tile in the whole building!
