Good post, I've never seen this 5th gear episode before.

Frank Mountain is a true car nut. I wish I had that kind of money. Ahhhhh... To dream!

No idea, but the public asking prices have been north of $1M. One would assume that the asking price for his car was higher due to the winning history. They currently have 3 cars posted for sale.

F2002, chassis number 224 - driven by Rubens Barrichello to victory at the Italian Grand Prix

F2003-GA telaio 233 – driven by Rubens Barrichello to victory at the Japanese GP and a third in the Italian GP.

F2002 chassis number 220 The same car gave both drivers wins – at the Brazilian GP with Michael Schumacher, and at both the European and Hungarian GPs with Rubens Barrichello.

I would assume since an ENZO is 1m and an FXX is upto 3M that a F1 would be like 4-5M?

The small matter of the 50K a time to run it rather shortens the list of people interested...

Currently its $1m from Corsa Cliente, if you have access to owners.ferrari.com have a look at their section.....but the costs of actually using it are faily wild as I'm sure you''d expect although the $1m does include a few costed & supported demo runs a year, have been speaking to one of the UK guys who's currently going through the process!

Ferrari runs the Corsa Cliente and restoration shops because they are wildly profitable. Regardless of the F1 asking price, you still have to apply and be chosen to purchase the car. Like the FXX you would logically have Ferrari maintain, transport, and provide "arrive and drive" service. Very, very, very pricey!
