    Hello People,

I was wondering if you could check your serial # against a master to find details about your car?

    Thanks, Chris.

ferrari offers this service to owners via their website...it is sort of like the Porsche Cardex/build sheet.

Yes, they told me my car was born black on Aug XX 1987. They provide a lot more info on older cars.

Register with www.owners.ferrari.com and there will be an email address for customer service. They'll give you colors and original dealer (not original owner for privacy reasons). Very easy people to deal with. Might take a few days.

good luck. i tried with the 79 308 GTS *23785*, my 77GTB *20433*, AND MY 74 DINO *09563* . and got nothing from Ferrari. the cars do appear in "MY GARAGE" on the site. maybe they are too old. i hope to get another fcar in 2006. leaning towards a BB365 unless a Countach steals my cash.

I got the info on my 308 after a month or so, but not the Mondial. I even filled out the form for the 308 and got my "certificate" eventually.

I'll have to give it a try. I registered quite a while back and never knew that service was availalbe through the site.

OK, help me out...where on the site do you request it? I'm on it now and can't seem to find it.....

Nevermind, found it in the Historical Documents Archive section..I'll order and see how it goes....

So....there seesm to be a dissconnect, they say you can obtain a Heritage Cert on '80 and early carb'd cars but later models are availalbe from the pull down menu...
