Hi, is there any particular way to clean a mousehair dash on a Dino? Things to use or not to use? Should it just be dusted and thats it? Thanks!
After 30+ years, my old "mouse" doesn't seem to have as much hair as he used to (sound familiar?) Mine was pretty dirty, mostly dust, but a big accumulation. I used paper towels soaked in water to clean it. The material got quite damp, but dried out quickly. I went over it this way three times (allowing it to dry completely in between) before the towels came up clean. After it dried the last time, I used a brand new natural bristle paint brush (from Lowe's) to spruce it up and brush off the few little bits of paper towel that remained. I plan to use the paint brush from now on for periodic dusting. (Kind of like a miniature broom.) It seems to work quite well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have been told that (but have not tried) using Armour All as a cleaner conditioner works. As my mouse hair is hairless, I can use just about anything to keep it clean. DM

I brushed and brushed for the last 8 years and it still looked like dirty 30year old mousehair. So as per the old thread i decided to use suede dye and it now looks like new. the interior looks like a new car and the 'shinyness' has gone - great result.
I used 'suede nubuck dye'. A small bottle that you apply with a brush. It's an Australian brand which I'm sure you wont get over there called 'Minit'.
