    I have a 488 and do my own maintenance and would like to clear the wrench myself. I had a 458 and used my X-431 Pro mini-Launch tool to clear that one, however, for some reason, my launch tool doesn't have a 488 as one of the menu selections. Does anyone know if I can do it using a different menu, or even possibly selecting a 458 in the menu (it probably wouldn't work that way)?
    I haven't tried it, but I'm pretty sure someone in the past mentioned that we can trick the computer, and set the date a year back, but not sure if that would work.
    Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Even with a tool, I believe the wrench only has 7 or 8 resets before it needs some expensive software update to give you 7 or 8 more… what year is your car?

    Have the green wrench and would like to get it off also. I have a autel scanner, will try to see if can clear off with that one

    I tried selecting 458 with the Launch scanner today to try to clear the green wrench light, but it didn't work, there was a communication error.
    I decided to just change the date to 2023 on the car, instead of 2024, and the wrench light turned off. I guess it will come back every year at this point, and I'll just kick it back to 2023 for as long as I own the car. lol

    to manually turn it off, using the toggle press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start

    The green wrench only gets seven resets. After the 7th reset you need to pay Ferrari something like $500 to get more service spots. Just don't pay and the green wrench will never come back.
