    The how to clone a fob thread dates back to 06. Is there any new technology around to clone a fob? I have the red master. I don't have the security code.

    Tom- Nope, unfortunately. Same as always. Red fob no different than black fob once its PIN is in the Alarm ECU. Dead thread already.

    We just keep repeating the same information over and over, but hopefully it helps somebody. I need to do a fobs for dummies document to go along with the programming document, I guess.

    In the olden days I used to provide owners with sets of matching fobs with a new PIN. Said I would quit if I ever had a failure. Nine times a winner, one failure, so that was the end of that. But at least there are 9 very happy owners out there with three working fobs. Most expensive set was $350, I think, one or two were free.
