Don't do it. Just leave it as is. You will get a ticket anyway..and the next time you need a saftey you will have to reapir it. Better off woth them in the car, and working. Besides it is a good feature for saftey anyway
Tom, Is there anyway to add daytimes to an older car (88 Tr) using the fogs / flashers for the additional visibility reason. Canadian tire used to sell a wiring harness/ kit but I haven't seen them in a long time. Just wondering
Oh ya you can do it if you want to...But your car never had then to begin with. It's a pretty simple thing to do really. And yes Canadian tire will have the kit..and so will most autoparts stores.
Thanks Tom, I was thinking of doing because I have nearly been hit 2x at T - intersections by either minivans or pickups ( I live in alberta ). Every body says the same thing...I didn't see you because your so low. I don't get it. Big car, bright red, wide ass and you can't see it? If $15 in parts will add more visibility then I think it's worth it. Looks like I'm off to canadian tire.
If you procrastinate I will fix it for you when down for your Spring service. Happy New Year!!! It is 30 C everday here in Mexico and not looking forward to coming back. ZR
Thanks for the reply! The reason that I want to disable the daytime driving light is because the car is no longer in Canada, so no worries with tickets. so, anyone knows how? Harris
