Hi, I'm planing on tinting my tail lights. I have used VHT Night Shades on other cars with success. It can look blotchy in certain areas. On the front side markers I don't like the look when the lights are on because the single light bulb just illuminates a small area and the reflector looks unevenly tinted. With lights off it looks fine. Does film work on the tail lights? Do you use one single piece or do you use two per light? One around the outside and another on the vertical area? Please post pictures if you have pictures of any of these two options. Thank you.

You paint them with see through black then 2 pak clear coat them i painted my lights on w/end will clear them this wk i'll post pics wen there done. I went heavy coat on the outer red and very light coat on the inner rev/flasher lenses petty much same as pic above
a tinter told me he can do them with tint... I would just check with a body shop to spray tint them..
