One of the chrome screws that holds on the interior vertical leather covered door trim piece on my 355 just turns and turns in its hole. What is a good and easy way to somehow fill the tiny hole in the door itself and re drill it so the screw can be secured?
Use a smaller internal diameter rivetnut and screw the self tapper into it, or if that's not your thing then screw (with self tappers) a new piece of sheet metal behind the hole and under the trim. It all depends where the screw is located and if you can get behind it.
Thanks Answer was to make the holes bigger and insert a small nylon grommet nut. Should have been done like this at the factory. Stupid trim screws that self tap...obviously going to spin out.
