I have been using Mozilla for some time now without any problems. However, I noticed that it's not saving my Sent e-mails. I have opened the menu under tools and checked that I wanted sent e-mails to be automatically saved and I exit that menu but it does not save them. Have done this a number of times.

Do I have to uninstall Mozilla and reinstall. How to I get it to work?

This is a setting on a per-account basis.

Presuming you're using "real" Mozilla, from "Mail and Newsgroups" window, select the appropriate account. (Not the Inbox, the top level account). Then click "View settings for this account".

In the "Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings" pop-up window, select "Copies & Folders". You can select a folder to use to save a copy of sent messages (typically a "Sent" folder under the same account). You can also select to blind copy (bcc) yourself a copy of the sent mail (which should wind up in your inbox).

From the "Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings" window, you can make this change for all your defined accounts.

When you compose an email message, there's a pull down menu to select which account you're sending from. If you send from an account that wasn't set to save outgoing emails, it won't save.

I have already tried to automatically save by clicking on the box, under Copies and Folders, "When sending a message, automatically place a copy to Sent folder" and then I click OK which closes that window. But, when I reopen the window, the box is no longer checked. I am the only user so there are no other choices.

I have to believe that I am doing something wrong but I sure can't figure out what.
