How would someone go about shipping cigars from cuba to the states?
I can appreciate your frustration with the new S-Chip tax looming over our pastime but that is an illegal activity and probably not the smartest thing to be discussing in a public forum.... Having said that you might try doing it the way the drug smugglers do it.... wrap them in plastic, swallow them whole then "collect them" on your next bowel movement. Don't try it with Lonsdales or any A sized cigars.
There are certain cigar makers in the USA whom use imported tobacco from Cuba and other places. I have a friend who is in the business, if you pm me I'll send you the link to his site.
If you're looking for legal cigars, you can get pre-embargo Cubans: They aren't cheap and they're from 1962 or earlier... From 2006: http://money.cnn.com/2006/04/18/pf/fortune_goodlife/index.htm
