Yes ofcourse , but my point was carbs do not just 'go off adjustment' and then need rebalancing. Something else has been altered to cause this ... Thus balancing carbs should be a rare thing ... but amatures think it is a monthly maintenance task, and thus make more work for their expert mechanics . Pete
I know. As a mechanic, it's refeshing when a car I've set up ages ago, comes back for a service much later on, and all it needs carb wise is a clean and maybe a idle mixture tweak (the idle screws can vibrate out to be richer if you rev it really high a lot). There are also instances when linkages wear a little bit, or spindle bearings leak more than they used to (need some of carl888 (ebay) brgs for this!!). But yes..... leave them alone and you'll be better off for it... so long as they were set properly once before.
