I'm thinking of doing this, as it would be a big upgrade to the car. It seems like more and more cars have the headrest monitors. I took my 348 by a place today that does this and the guy was hesitant at first because he hasn't done a Ferrari before, but then he said he could do it. My problem is that the new black leather on the headrest could be a slightly different texture than the seats. Is this a problem?

I think it's a great idea. The 348 isn't fast enough to make you pay attention anyway, and if you reverse the headrest, you'll have the monitor, and you won't have to pay attention to the road. Sooner or later the problem will get resolved, probably by totalling the car, which will take more one person off the road.

As long as you went with black chrome on your 348's trailer hitch, you'll be fine.

Husker, you have to accept the fact that no matter what modifications you do to your 348, it will never be trail rated. Only Jeeps are trail rated, my friend. Plus, you will need to really think about where you will mount the TV controls so that they don’t interfere with your rear A/C controls. I would recommend that you mount them just above the rear cup holders.

Lloyd my friend, thank you for reminding me that only Jeeps are trail rated.

A good friend like you is hard to come by, and I am deeply indebted to you. May you enjoy many maintenance-free hours in your Ferrari.

You realize, installing monitors in the headrests voids your aftermarket CPO warranty, right?
