You have a good point there....

It has been explained, that after some 20 minutes of hard exercise, your body has depleted the sugars in the blood and the glycogen stored in your liver: at this point your body will turn to several sources for energy....fat being one of them.

After working out AND so long as your blood-sugar is low....your body will continue burning calories and accessing fat-storage. This condition of fat-burning is essentiall shut-off when you eat food and re-elevate your blood sugar through food intake. Horrifically enough, it is exactly just after we exercise that we feel we can "afford" to eat a bit of food and unwittingly undo the potential for great fat burning.

The best thing you can do after a good workout is to have repeated and hot sex with many woman. I can't really substantiate this theory or provide any solid data to support it....but I doubt anyone will argue or dismiss it.

Yes. That'll do it. Practice Tantric sex after workouts and you'll be a lean sex machine like Sting (the singer).

How do you guys think about this?

18 holes of golf carrying bag walking

    2 hrs of driving range

    3 miles running

    eat 2 times a day

About 2000 calories exercise, and small eating per day.

I hope this will work for me. I am doing it for 2 weeks now. Hope I can lose weight of 20 pounds in 2 months.

    DO NOT DRINK SODAS!!!!

Just cutting soda out of your diet, you can expect to lose about 1-2 waist sizes in about 10 days period.

DRINK NOTHING BUT WATER & TEA

Water cleanses your body & tea is an anti-oxidant. You'll feel better during the day & if you're not the work out type, your body won't take in excess sugar that it won't use, which later turns into fat.

    Just a point to consider,

You need carbs for brain function. Cutting out carbs for extended periods of time can lead to irreversable brain damage and shrinkage.

The other thing is, if you loose too much weight in that short of a period of time you will have a short and long term effect which is loose skin or sagging man tits (assuming you got at least a bit of them already since your 50 pounds overweight). And you cannot lose that amount of weight in a short period of time without losing muscle mass as well, so make sure you have plenty of protein and excercise so you dont waste away.

My advice for fast but safe weight loss is MASSIVE amounts of excercise, aerobic to burn, anareobic (weights) to tone muscle and get you lean. High protein, medium low (not zero) carbs. EXCERCISE.

I recently lost 80 pounds (couple of years ago) via the body for life routine, I highly suggest you give that a go. However I have been slacking off my routine since my hernia :(

And i cant stress this enough, DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF. you will **** your body six ways from sunday. You will screw your metabolism, screw your brain function, mess up your heart muscle, lose bone density etc.. Instead eat plenty of protein, GOOD carbs (brown bread, brown rice etc) and drink 2 litres of water a day

    Hope this helps.

Very impressive and scary ways of losing weight.

In honour of you all, let me pop open a Cherry Coke and finish that chocolate cake that's waiting for me in the fridge. :D

Yes....and no, depends on the exercise:

After weight-training you do want to very quickly eat and replenish, this is essential for your muscle growth and everything you just took-out of your body. After weight-training your muscle fibers are worked and it's ideal to have a solid protein shake and even some carbs. Weight training in high intensity & demanding on your body.

On the other hand, after a good cardio workout your body is in a fat-burning mode...your heart rate was only about 60% of max capacity and you have not torn-down muscle fibers as you would while weight-training. In this condition your body is burning fat & breaking down fat....by eating you are then introducing energy and raising your blood-sugar level: fat burning will stop when this happens.

    1. Review your current eating habit, and take off whatever fat builders.

    2. Eat 1st meal of the day w/in 30 minutes of waking up.

    3. Don't sleep long hours at night, preferrably pull up all nighter 3-4 times a week. While you are staying up, you can do some exercise.

    4. Smoke 2-3 packs a day, and Drink 2-3 jars of coffee.

    5. Don't eat anything after 8:00 pm, even you're staying up.

When I had some problems in '00, I ended up doing 3, 4,& 5 for about 4-5 weeks, and w/out any constant excercise routine, I lost 40 lbs (190 to 150 lbs.) By '03, I recoverd all the weight though.
