I'm looking to diminish the fender gap on my 2018 488 Ferrari Spider. I've been told that I can adjust the factory coil overs, but nobody has confirmed how low we can go with the factory front suspension lift.

Does it make sense to leverage the factory suspension, or should I just opt for Novitec springs?

Also, I wish to run spacer rings 15MM Front, 20MM Rear to change the stance on the car. Has anybody done something similar on their vehicle?

I'm uploading a picture of this car for example, this is how I want mine to sit.

factory coilovers are adjustable and you can drop about 1" or so depending on what the delivery height was. The issue is you'll get to a point where dropping the car too much, you reduce the preload on the springs which then reduces the overall spring rate and handling.

suggestion is to get novitec or similar so you maintan the good handling of the car + the better stance.

Call Austin at Vivid Racing and have him sell you Novitec springs and spacers. Problem solved!

You do not alter the preload on the springs. You move the spring perch.
When lowinerin, you do stiffen up the roll bars.

That being said, a Pista can rarely be dropped more than 10-15 mm on stock springs.

It is highly advised that you do not lower a lot on stock springs. You will need a stiffer spring to preven bottoming out and so forth. For a drop of 25-35 mm, you need Novi springs. It will be a BAD idea to try and skate by by using stock springs.

As for spacers. Use Hill 11 and 15 mm. The 15/20 combo will rub and is more show than go.

All this have been done by many already. Nothing new to figure out.

Novi springs and Hill spacers + Hill bolts. Simple as.
