The idea that you need to modify the CGT in order to improve its performance is laughable and idiotic.
I consider myself an experienced high performance car operator. I have done countless driving schools, dozens of car club track events, raced Alfa's and Renault 5's and have a stable full of exotic machinery.
My CGT is so much more car than I can handle. I had the CGT at Phoenix IR for a Porsche Club Race weekend last week where I was the official Pace Car. In one of the day's races involving fully race prepped RSR's and similar very rapid race cars the CGT ran away from the field in the warmup lap trying to get them in formation for the start. The car "as built" is insane already. I personally cannot imagine it being any better and certainly not faster.

Basically I guess its something like, "The Enzo does 0-60 faster than the CGT, and it has a higher top speed. Why not make the CGT faster?" Both cars are well beyond almost everyone's abilities stock. Doesn't mean people won't want theirs to be better on paper.
