355 How to measure battery voltage?

Taz heavy equipment can be either positive or negative most on the positive side because up to the early 70’s most equipment manufacturers would use a positive grounding circuit ( meaning the positive cable would go to the frame and negative would go to the fuses,starter and etc) not to common today but having a disconnect on the positive side stayed

On most cars you will see the negative used for disconnect the thinking is that by having it on negative you will not be pulling high amps through a switch contact (when starting or charging) even though it is being pulled on the contacts of a relay lol
