Pretty good idea, seems like a lot less work than disassembling it. Did they have to drag it at all?

I sold my 4 post to a friend when i installed a 2 post. We did pretty much the same thing using a car trailer. worked great. Only had to move it about 2 miles.

I am selling the lift with the house whenever that happens. It is installed in such a way that it cannot clear the garage door and would have to be disassembled to be moved. Although, to be frank, it is not that bad to disassemble it. With a friend, I can probable do it in 4 hours. It is so heavy to move around.

Yeah that's not how I moved mine.
Had to move it 45 min away so I tore it down.

I remember being a wee bit stronger the first time I put it up, Holly crap

I don't think mine would clear my garage doors, either. The house will just have to sell to a car enthusiast, I guess.
