    If my driver's door did not open, i would just use the passenger door and climb in.

    He is just putting on a show. The cameras are there and the drivers side of the car is already banged up, so why not. It is not like he is doing any extra damage -- the panels probably would be replaced anyways ... but it is very amusing with him pretending to be some kind of an expert in auto body repair

    Looks to me like the fender got pushed in behind the front edge of the door, preventing it from opening. Same thing happened on my old Jeep when I got into an accident.
