The bushes are stuck firmly in the 348's wishbones.

I've been told that unlike normal bushes, these don't have a lip and therefore are harder to take out. The couple of people I have asked have started swearing down the phone and saying it was the hardest thing they ever did.

Seems like the only solution is to get a hacksaw and cut them out which can take hours if not days.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Some people burn them out with a blowtorch.

If they are the same as a 355, I had some bushes and sleeves made up of the correct size and used them in conjunction with an hydraulic press.

IIRC a couple of bushes required 3 ton on the gauge before they moved which is why a good bush/sleeve set up is neccesaary.

Bushes just press out with the proper h frame hydralic press. Proper tools are a must and wear your face shield! I little wd40 helps too

I've dropped it off at a local Lotus specialist and hopefully they can do something with them.
