Every time I go to remove my door panels they seem to get hung up in the middle. Is there some kind of hidden fastener? I have unbolted the arm rest, all periphery screws etc... I can pull it on every edge and it starts to come away, problem is, it seems to be attached somewhere in the middle.

    Thank you for your assistance.

I've been trying to remove my armrest. What i'm worried about is trying to remount the armrest without removing the door panel. How do you prevent the nuts from spinning if you don't hold the bolts from the other side when remounting the armrest?

You did unscrew/remove the lock button?

Also, I find it is helpful if you push the door panel in (towards the window) as you slide it upwards.

you have to remove the trim around the door handle and unscrew, careful when moving the trim, it has two tabs which can break!

I just removed both door panels as I am installing a new audio system in the car. There are two nuts and a large screw in the armrest. The armrest just pulls right off once those are off/out. I had three small perimeter screws that went through the door panel in various locations. Once you remove the screws, just lift up and out and the panel should pop right off. Good luck!
